One thing that Nathan and I both have in common, is our love for being outdoors. My favorite part about Spring is the weather turning, the flowers blooming, and being able to enjoy glorious sunny days in nature.
Since Nathan and I both love any excuse to get outside…a few weekends ago after church, we packed up a blanket and some snacks and headed over to Butler Park for a slow and leisurely evening. (Snapple Tea in hand of course!)
We are both avid tea drinkers… I tend to go for the sweeter sips, and Nathan opts for regular, unsweetened, or green. That evening we both indulged in some of Snapple’s delicious flavors. (the mango is my FAVORITE!) P.S. – right now, Walmart is having THE BEST DEAL where you can by 3 64oz bottles of Snapple for only $5!! (Now that’s a steal! Spring picnics just got a whole lot easier.)
I’ve always LOVED picnics, and am so happy that I will be able to do them more often now with my love and with friends. I’ve got to make the most of this Texas sunshine!! From what I hear… Spring and Summer in Austin are both sooo much fun! This outdoorsy city comes alive, and everyone starts to trickle outside. There are so many exciting activities and events happening around the city to take part in during the weekends. From festivals to concerts, to farmers markets, and craft shows… the list is endless. I can’t wait to see more of what Austin has to offer during my first Spring and Sumer here.
If you have any recommendations on what I should do/see during the season, please let me know in the comment section below. I would love to hear your ideas!!
