HAPPY MONDAY and Happy 4th of July week! 🎆
In honor of the 4th of July, this week is going to be red, white, and blue themed! I’ll be sharing everything from desserts to make for the fourth, to the best sales happening this week, and what to wear this Wednesday. I’m planning to bring you a little bit of everything, so stay tuned to the blog these next few days to see more of what’s to come.
On another note, I’ve been living in easy and effortless dresses from Forever 21 lately. (Yes you read that right, Forever 21!) I love stopping in from time to time to find inexpensive pieces to wear for a night out with friends, a simple top to pair with a new Nordstrom skirt, or easy Summer dresses like this one above! 👗
Forever 21 is a great spot to find pieces to mix with high-low looks. I’m all about mixing higher price point items, with lower price point pieces and vice versa. Like pairing a favorite designer handbag with an inexpensive dress, or a higher price point dress with simple sandals and earrings. Curating a closet that you love means finding items in all price ranges that you can mix and match with your favorite pieces. (P.S. – I’ll be sharing a post on some of my favorite pieces to invest in for your closet soon!)
With Summer in full swing, and this Austin heat reaching new highs… I’ll be wearing dresses like this one non-stop here on the blog and over on Instagram. Some dresses and top & skirt combos from Forever 21! (They have sooo many cute options right now.)
I might be turning 30 at the end of this year (insert panic face emoji here 😱), but that’s not going to stop me from shopping for a few on-trend & inexpensive items at Forever 21 every now and then. It’s always been a go-to for me when it comes to picking up last minute pieces for an event, get-together, or themed party.
A few other favorite stores for Fast Fashion include:
ASOS – so many great jumpsuits & dresses!
Old Navy – inexpensive basics.
Target – the cutest swimwear. 👙
T.J. Maxx – great designer pieces at lower prices.
Urban Outfitters – trendy tees, and fun loungewear.
What are some of your favorite stores to shop in for lower price point pieces?
